This Cookie Policy explains how Axiom Analytics Labs LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on https://axiomanalyticslab.com. We keep this minimal: we use cookies that are necessary to run the site securely and a few that keep our live chat working, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
1.What cookies we use
- Strictly necessary: authentication and session cookies (httpOnly) that keep you signed in to the portal and protect against cross-site request forgery. The site cannot function without these.
- Preferences: limited local storage used to remember interface choices on your device.
- Functional (live chat): when we are testing versions of our live chat, we set a first-party cookie,
ax_vid, holding a random identifier, so you see the same chat each time you visit. It lasts up to one year, cannot be read by page scripts, and is never shared with third parties or sold. Two short-lived cookies, kept for up to 5 minutes, remember which chat to show:ax_chat_providerrecords which chat this browser is shown, andax_chat_cohortrecords which version of the chat you are in and is passed to the live-chat service. Neither holds an identifier. If you use our own chat assistant without signing in, we also setax_chat_visitor, a random identifier that lasts up to 30 days, cannot be read by page scripts, and is used only to limit abuse and keep your conversation together. The chat also keeps a conversation id and the assistant persona assigned to that tab in the browser tab's session storage, which is cleared when the tab closes. - Analytics: if enabled in the future, privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics only; this Policy will be updated and consent obtained where required.
Our third-party live-chat service may set its own cookies when it loads. Those cookies are set and controlled by that service, not by us. See our Subprocessors list.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site trackers.
2.Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to the portal and using authenticated features. Public pages and COA verification do not require you to accept any optional cookies.
